Kristen Wood, Project Manager, is undertaking the research on behalf of CEC to populate this tool for an Australian audience. At this stage the contents are being scoped.

The development of the Clean Energy Career Hub is well underway. A data file of the key occupations in the solar and wind industries, along with the training pathways that underpin these occupations, is currently being converted into an interactive Flash file that will be the Career Mapping Tool on the Hub. The Clean Energy Council communications team has been busy designing the Hub, beginning with a vibrant new logo. (attached) The Clean Energy Career Hub will contain:
  • The interactive career map showing links between occupations in the solar and wind industries and the associated training options
  • An overview of workforce development in the industry
  • An overview of e-learning in the industry
  • Case studies of good practice workforce development in the industry
  • Current workforce development options for solar photovoltaic installers
  • An overview of Recognition of Prior Learning

The Clean Energy Career Hub is likely to go live in the third week of June.
